While growing up, Avis recalls some of her siblings called her inquisitive, to put it mildly. That description of her is what has led her into writing. She has a kind heart for children and young adults and wants to help them navigate the precious gift of life. She has a colorful imagination and loves expressing it in her writing. Children are so impressionable that we need to be meticulous in how we shape them. It is imperative that we show them how to have faith, learn to pray, and to never give up. Having hope will take them further than we can imagine.
